In Israel the government is in disarray after the war in Lebanon, and the Palestinian Authority is tearing itself apart in Gaza.
Reporter Sandra Jordan and Producer Ed Watts investigate what’s happening on the West Bank, where a quarter of a million Israelis live cheek by jowl with more than two million Palestinians, and Israeli settlers are taking back settlements the Israeli Government expelled them from only two years before. They find an increasingly tense and violence situation – after one demonstration Israeli soldiers use tear gas and rubber bullets injuring Massad Abu-Toameh, the local journalist the team is working with, and sending him to hospital with serious head injuries.
