Ade Adepitan and director Karim Shah travel deep into the remote forest of Congo-Brazzaville. The Baka tribe live in this forest but the government has plans to turn a vast area into a national park to stop organised poaching gangs hunting endangered species.
The forest has been the hunting ground for tribes here for generations but it’s harder to hunt to survive now sections of the forest are off limits. The Baka say they experience intimidation and threats by the proposed park’s guards - who are part-funded by the World Wildlife Fund.
